Supporting the local community has always been a priority for Eagles Palace, especially in these challenging times the world is going through. To that end, Eagles Palace has donated a state-of-the-art molecular analyzer to the General Hospital of Halkidiki in Polygyros, as well as 100 tests totaling 29,500 euros, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility program.
Specifically, the GeneΧpert System performs automated molecular tests and detects the SARS-COV-2 virus within 45 minutes. The General Hospital of Halkidiki received the GeneΧpert System recently, in a modest ceremony in the presence of the Deputy Regional Governor of Halkidiki Mr. Giannis Giorgos, the Director of the General Hospital of Halkidiki Mr. Dedeloudis Konstantinos and the owners of Eagles Palace, Konstantinos and Lena Tornivouka.
“In the difficult and unprecedented conditions that our country and all humanity is experiencing, we consider it our duty and honor to support the local community and the modern-day heroes of our region, the doctors and nursing staff of the General Hospital of Halkidiki.” said Konstantinos Tornivoukas, President and CEO of the TOR Hotel Group, owner company of the Eagles Palace.
